On October 26, the Nagoya District Court ruled on the disciplinary dismissal of Professor Ra. The court confirmed Professor Ra’s position under the labor contract as a professor at Chukyo University, and ordered the board to pay unpaid salaries after the time of dismissal. The court ruled that the disciplinary dismissal was unjustified and invalid. The Chukyo University Faculty and Staff Union has supported Professor Ra for over four years.
